Moscow Centre of Martial Arts
The Complex
Moscow Centre of Martial Arts is the biggest in Europe unique
complex equipped according to the international standards. It is
assigned for training, international and Russian competitions on
sambo, judo, wushu, karate and other types of martial arts as well
as for concerts, presentations, exhibitions and cultural
events.
The idea of the construction of MCMA suggested by two famous
sportsmen – A.B. Shturmin, Honored Coach of Russia, and
S.V.Tsiklauri, Merited Master of Sports, – was supported by the
Moscow City Government as well as the METROPOL Group of Companies
headed by the Company’s CEO M.V. Slipenchuk who is also the
President of the Development of Martial Arts Foundation.
The facade of the MCMA building is adorned with the largest separate advertising structure – the Russian record book holder – a three-positional dynamic prismaboard with the total surface area of 348 m2.
Location
MCMA is located in the south of Moscow, in Northern Chertanovo
District with excellent transport accessibility. The Centre is at
the intersection of Varshavskoye avenue and Sumskoy proezd, between
Chertanovskaya and Yuzhnaya metro stations. Moreover, there is a
park such as Bitsevsky forest near Complex. Proximity to natural
space has a positive influence on ecological situation in the
district.
The MCMA building is adjacent to the 21-storey business centre with
retail and office areas, which successfully accompany
infrastructure of the district.

The Centre is not only a place for trainings and sports
competitions but also one of the city’s centres of activity, a
favorite place for meeting and active leisure of the inhabitants of
the capital of Russia.
The proximity to main transport highways (Varshavskoye avenue,
Chertanovskaya street, Balaklavsky Prospect) as well as the
developed network of public transport in the region make the Centre
easy of access for the inhabitants of Moscow and Moscow region and
turn it into one of the most important objects of social
infrastructure of the city.

WRESTLING TRAINING GYM
Available for wrestling training.
CONTACT FIGHT TRAINING GYM
Intended for impact training and sparring sessions on a mini
ring.
MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING GYM
Available for martial arts training.
CONFERENCE HALL
48 seats; equipped with video/audio appliances suitable for hosting
various seminars, conferences, trainings and
presentations.
WORKOUT GYM
Equipped with modern weight and pulley systems Life Fitness and
free weight machines Hammer Strength, cardio equipment.
Basic technical indicators
- the Competition Arena with the floor area of 1350 m2 and the capacity of 1000 seats. It is equipped with sound and video systems, LED video screens and information score boards;
- conference hall for 48 seats, equipped with video/audio appliances suitable for hosting seminars and training;
- 2 classrooms for seminars and training;
- 2 training gyms: wrestling and martial arts – with the floor area of 370 m2 each, equipped with tatami mats;
- training gym with the area of 180 m2, intended for impact training and sparring sessions on a mini – ring;
- workout gym with the floor area of 370 m2 equipped with modern fit out;
- medical centre with the floor area of 150 m2 equipped with modern appliances and injury rehabilitation equipment;
- 14 changing rooms with showers and WC;
- modern sauna for recovery after training;
